Got to say I have really enjoyed testing the car for this event.

Agreed, this car's been great fun to race in, and all the different builds are so closely matched!

looking forward to this really enjoyed testing the car yesterday and its going to be great to see how people build the car with such open requirements

Just want to clarify one thing on the tunes:

Are we to stick with the same tune throughout the series, e.g. if we make a speed tune, do we have to keep that tune throughout the series, or can we adjust the tune to each track?

Otherwise looking like a great series and as usual can see the work and detail you put into the series, just by reading all the series regulations.

You can change your build and tune as much as you want.

Will there be a pit window or will it be any lap we like?

ill pass this one onto my mate dalton, he loves that cossy. However Saturday is usually beer night for him.

Pit on any lap except the first or the last

it will depend on were you start and how the race evolves heheh
But if I would be like a second of the pace of the front runners I would pick my strategy so I can annoy them one way or the other since pitting with them would just make sure you would be finishing in that position anyways

But me pitting as early as possible had to do with something else, since when I setup my car after 10 laps I get my faster times and after about 20 laps I can usually go another 0.5 seconds faster:P well this was especially the case with the DTM cars for me so that's why I picked the tactic I picked in previous races, thus just making my stint as long as possible

just relooked the calender and mhh with all those short circuits it probably has no use to even go for much engine power but just all out handling.

im about to start work on my car if anyone is online, think im just gonna go for my usual time attack kinda build. always does me well

What kinda times are we getting at Tsukuba? I've got a 1:02.4 - just got to play with the aero a bit but I don't think there's too much more time to come.

1:01.5 is roughly what people are getting

I sincerely hope you are just much better drivers than me - I spent hours building and tuning just to get to that time!

Try going full aero, I shaved around half a second off my time by doing that, though I still only got a 1:02.5 :/

Changed the build around and managed to get down to 1:01.6 so I should be able to keep up! I think mine had about 270hp but I'm going to leave it at that.

Dont forget you will need 5 builds when you enter the lobby at 9pm
