I am a massive btcc fan and wanted to start a race season or something and fortunately Dalton picked up on it and led me here and i hope to start in the next season.

Quick question when it comes to teams, are we allowed to make our own team, must the sponsor be uk known, etc etc all links to where things are appreciated.

Welcome to CCRO James.

In order to take part in the events you need to join a team. If you would like to start your own team you can, but you need a few drivers in the team before you can set it up. This is so we don't have loads of teams with just one or two drivers.

If you do set up you own team you can have what ever sponsor you want.

edit. how do I go around finding a teammate, I am pretty set on using an 07 Civic Type R so i don't want to offend anyone by going with them and telling them to drop their car in favour of this, so it would be great if that person is starting from scratch like me ;-)

well as you know there is no BTCC now until Forza 4, but SLR Jacko 088 may want to drive the 07 civic again which means you could possibly have a partner there.

Yes, Dalton is correct. When the next season of BTCC begins I will be gunning for the 07 Honda Civic once again. At the moment I do not have a teamate. I would be more than happy to discuss a partnership for Forza 4 BTCC. Hit me up on live Spetsnaz and we can talk about it. I will however be looking for dedication in a teamate. You don't have to be the fastest guy on the grid but you must try to make every race and qualifying session. An eagerness to practice often will also be an asset.
