| Well, i'm finally making the jump to a wheel. It's in the mail and should be here this Wednesday. It's just a used MS wireless force feedback from a friend in Montreal, but I figure it's a good low cost way to see if I even take to it.
For those of you that have a wheel, do you have any advice for me? I've heard it's like learning the game all over again...

| I would also be intrigued to know what it's like racing competatively with a wheel, as I'm considering getting one!
I played GT5 on a wheel at a friends house and it's amazing, I would suggest racing the slower cars first then as you get used to it gradually getting in faster cars. I didn't do this but instead went in the fastest car in the game, it didn't go well...

| It really is like learning how to drive all over again but once you get the hand of it you'll never want to use a controller again. Talk to Dalton about the setting and preferences, he has a Microsoft wheel and I'm sure he will be happy to advise you. | |

| I was actually also thinking of getting a wheel and then I came across this funny video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFCRh-anfRg&feature=relatedImagine 37 laps of that lol But so I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to use the PC wheel on the xbox in a way that aint expensive, because I know that you can buy something to connect it with but that device is almost as expensive as a new wheel :S , since atm my logitech wheel is just gathering dust hahaha | |

| Welcome to the wheel club 8londe.
Like Jacko said there is a big learning curve when you start using a wheel, and I've heard of a lot of people who gave up after a few hours. The only advise I can give you is be patient it will take you sometime to be as quick on the wheel compared to a controller. When you get there I promise you that you will never want to us a controller again.
I used the MS wheel up until Christmas, and for a entry level wheel i was very happy with it. The one bit of advise i can give is the brake pedal is very sensitive and its very easy to lock up your brakes. So get yourself some foam and put it between the pedal and the base, it gives you more feeling.

| Also Blonde, get yourself a racing stand or a cockpit. It makes a big difference especially for the long races where comfort will be an issue. | |
