| Despite being right in the middle of the awesome DTM series, I have been thinking about what sort of race series CCRO could do in the future. I don't know If Dalton already has things planned out, but we can use this topic to post our ideas. Here is what I've come up with:
1. FIA GT3 Series. (Using the Audi R8 LMS, #62 F458 Italia, BMW Z4 GT3, #08 Gallardo LP560-2, and the #40 Ford GT Mk7.)
2. Super GT500 (Using the 2010 #12 Nissan GT-R, 2010 #1 Lexus SC430, and the 2005 #18 Honda NSX, as the 2010 NSX is absent from FM4) I ran a couple laps around Suzuka in each of them and they all run competitive times stock.
3. Aussie V8 Supercars
4. Ferrari Challenge Series (Using either the FXX, 599XX, 360 CS, 430 S, or possibly the 458)

| I think that if you are really looking for a new series, Super GT may not be the best idea, because they drive a lot like the DTM cars (i.e. it would probably be just like the same series with different looking cars).
I had an idea for an early 90s DTM series, which now has even more merit with the Alfa 155 addition. I can think of at least 4 cars that could potentially work: 155, Mercedes 190E, BMW M3 E30, and Ford Sierra Cosworth. Those cars are just great fun to drive (although I'm not sure about how competitive their lap times are to each other).

| Yeah I thought about that. The Super GT cars are really similar in performance to the DTM cars. Your classic DTM idea sounds good as long as the cars are competitive after upgrading them to S class maybe? I really like the FIA GT3 idea, it would be awesome for all of us to run in the same class in the Le Mans GT cars.
Added new ideas to my original post.

| I've been trying for a Ferrari series for a while now, I'm sure we'll get one going soon enough. | |

| I like some of your ideas guy's, but there has been some testing for the next couple of event's, so i don't think they will change.
But keep your ideas coming and I'm sure Andy will have a look at running them if possible.
Personally i like the sound of the GT3 series. The thought of a track full of Lambo's,Ferrari's, BMW, McLaren's etc wets my appetite.
As for the 90's DTM, we ran that series last year, so I'm not sure we will run that until we have done other event's.

| Oh, I didn't know that you guys had run old DTM previously. Oh well, I have to admit that I like the GT3 idea as well, my friends and I ran a similar series and it was great fun. | |

| The GT3 idea would be even better if the new McLaren MP4 GT car came out as DLC. | |

Out of curiosity what sort of events have you guys been planning?

| I've always fancied a Porsche cup of some kind, those cars are so nicely balanced and so quick too! Rex, I'm sure we had a thread with some future events in it somewhere, I'll take a look for you later | |

| A Porsche cup would be my number one pick for sure. We would have to jump back to Forza 3 for that. I would love that, I miss Porsche. | |

| We've got RUF in forza 4, Porshe's with a bit more oomph!
It is a shame they couldn't have porsches in forza 4 though

| Yeah a one make GT series sounds cool, I know a Lamborghini Trefeo series would be cool, or a Ferrari series.
But i'm looking forward to the Grand Am series, after doing the testing laps in those cars, they are all so similar, but have there strengths and weaknesses, so I don't think anyone will find it easy going as they all suit different tracks.

| If you take a look on his storefront there are 16 different cars, which should be for the grand am, but that may change for the final line up, but gives you a good idea of the cars. | |

| Any hints at the types of cars in the Grand-Am series? Isn't the BMW M3 one? | |

| At Least 7of them are in the Grand am Continental Tire Series. Some are in the Grand Sport class and some are in the Street Tuner class.
All of are cars are built to compete in 1 class tho.

| The cars are very evenly balanced, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Hats off to Andy for getting every car so close!

| Just had an idea for something maybe for the next opening slot: a BMW M1 Procar Championship, like what they had in 1979 and 1980 with some of the Formula One drivers. I don't know if Forza has the correct bodywork for the race versions (the Forza wings would look hideous), but perhaps the series still has some potential. Hopefully, I'm not again suggesting something you guys have already done. | |

| i was wondering if people were still putting ideas into here?
if so i was thinking maybe a series based loosely on lightning rods or something a bit stock car-y. such as lightning rod's would be all ford sierra's with just platform upgrades so they could be tuned. could make for some close racing as it does in real life, and i'd love to see some stock car style livery's in forza.
my other idea out of stock cars was a series based all on older cars, like the jag e-type. maybe some old Ferrari's. whatever is based and old. would be awesome fun. i think forza 3 had a cup in single player a bit like this.
anyway if anyone just wants to play around with these cars im up for outside of a series, just hit me up

Rex, I'm sure we had a thread with some future events in it somewhere, I'll take a look for you later I added my Porsche cup build+tune RUF to the club garage. Made it as close to real specs as possible. Its about 100hp over real life (stock engine) and with the sport weight reduction it is also around 100lbs overweight. As for the tires, the fronts stock are the right size but the rears are 20mm over. So to make the proportions the same as they are in real life, I increased the fronts by 20mm. Check it out and see what you think. A Porsche cup is top in my book.

| I would like to see a Porsche cup, I think it would make a fun series I tried that tune from your storefront and it drives quite easy, imo. It has plenty of grip so you don't have to worry to much of spinning exiting the corners like with the DTM cars. I ran that car on muggello and got in the high 1:56's. | |
