Race Cockpit / Wheel Stand Assy

I'm thinking of build a race cockpit for my ms wireless wheel and pedals and was wondering if anyone had done something similar.

I'm planning on using my fiesta's seat as it is due to go to the scrapheap soon. Maybe take the whole rail that the seat is mounted to out and bolt it into wooden beams so the seat is adjustable, and if im feeling really adventurous I might take one of the seat beat reals out and fine away of attaching it.

Was just wondering if anyone had any plans for such a DIY build so I could adjust them to suit my needs.

there is apparently plans online for building a Rig but not a wooden one. its a PVC Tubing rig using Drain pipe tubes and they look like this.

that looks interesting, and bloody simple. however I would ideally like to do it out of wood cause I have loads sat in my back garden left over from a past project. maybe i could use the dimensions from that one to base mine on. cheers dude
